Keep the lids on or use an airtight container to preserve the fragrance and keep dust out. Always store candles upright and avoid stacking to help maintain their scent, color, and shape.
Yes, scented candles are generally safe when used in moderation and with proper ventilation. If anyone in the room has respiratory sensitivities, stick to natural, non-toxic candles like ours and keep the space ventilated. Extinguish the flame with a snuffer rather than blowing it out, since blowing sends more smoke and soot into the air.
For the best results, burn your candle for no more than four hours at a time and always allow it to cool completely before relighting.
On the first burn, let the wax melt evenly to the edges of the vessel to avoid a memory ring that shrinks the pool on every burn after. Trim the wick to a quarter inch before each use, and stop burning once only a quarter to half inch of wax remains so the vessel doesn't overheat.
Our luxury perfumed candles are made with a plant-based wax blend. Cotton wicks keep soot to a minimum, and the ceramic vessels mean less heat transfer than thin glass jars. If you're sensitive to smoke or fragrance, our plant-based wax candles burn noticeably cleaner than paraffin blends.
